NMMS/4cmc Foray 2o12

This year the New Mexico Mycological Society (NMMS) joins the Four Corners Mushroom Club (4cmc) to host a Mushroom Conference/Foray in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. 20 miles north of the NM-CO border, Pagosa nestles against the southern slopes of the San Juan Mountains.
    NMMS & 4cmc welcome and encourage members of NAMA and other NAMA-affiliated mycological organizations to join us and our Foray Mycologists Steve Trudell and Britt Bunyard. Field trips will take us into the San Juan National Forest, where we'll visit elevations from 7500 ft to over 11,000.

  • Room rate for this Foray is $80 per night (plus tax). Breakfast is included with room rental.

    • Foray Fee:
  • The fee of $100 per person covers 4 meals (Friday and Saturday Lunch & Dinner) and Foray costs.
  • Breakfasts are included with Room Registration at the Pagosa Lodge (and are not included in the Foray Fee). Those Not staying at the Lodge may purchase breakfast for an additional $5 per meal.
  • Participants are responsible for reserving their own lodging (see Registration Form or Lodging info above).

    Field Trips

  • The Foray Committee will have planned destinations and recruited volunteer leaders for Friday's Field Trips, but participants must either provide transportation to and from Field Trip sites, or if riding in another participant's vehicle, be prepared to share transportation costs with that driver.

    Who May Attend: 

  • Besides members of NMMS and 4cmc, we also welcome participation from members of MSA, the North American Mycological Association (NAMA) and members of other NAMA-affiliated mycological organizations.
